Lawaypora terror attack: Wreath laying ceremony of CRPF constable performed
The wreath laying ceremony of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) constable Jagannath Roy was performed in Srinagar.
He was injured in Lawaypora terror attack on March 25.
Roy succumbed to his injuries on March 29.
On the other side, Councilor Shams-ud-Din Peer who was injured in Sopore attack on March 29 succumbed to his injuries in hospital on March 30.
While speaking to media, IGP of Kashmir Zone, Vijay Kumar said, "Since the municipal chairman didn't inform police before the meeting and there was no additional deployment.
But he (victim) had 4 gunmen including 2 PSOs.
The PSOs should have retaliated to avert the incident.
All four are being suspended for security lapse." "Yesterday, we nabbed an OGW who revealed that a local LeT terrorist and a Pakistani LeT terrorist visited his home a day before the incident to plan the attack.

In the aftermath of the Reasi terror attack, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited the injured pilgrims, providing them with comfort and support. The Bannu military cantonment in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, located over 330 km east of Islamabad, came under a severe attack early on Monday (July 15). The assault, reportedly led by several suicide bombers, resulted in a prolonged gunbattle with security forces. The militant group Jaish Fursan-e-Muhammad, a faction of the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) led by Hafiz Gul Bahadur, claimed responsibility for the attack. According to Pakistani state media, the incident began when the assailants attempted to breach the cantonment’s security perimeter with an explosive-laden vehicle.

The Shehbaz Sharif-led government in Pakistan has decided to ban the jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, the country's Information Minister announced on Monday.
