Watchdog backs police handling of Sarah Everard vigil
A review into the handling by the Metropolitan Police of a vigil in memory of Sarah Everard has found officers “did not act inappropriately or in a heavy-handed manner”.
A woman has died after a triple shooting in Brent, north west London, on Saturday. The Metropolitan Police says two men were also injured during the incident, and one remains in critical condition.
