"We decided to use communication buttons to give Ruby the ability to speak with us.

There are a lot of accounts on Instagram and TikTok that have had success with dogs and AAC communication, so I figured with all of my free time during the quarantine, I’d be able to teach her many words in no time.

What I didn’t account for is how stubborn and food-motivated she is!

Treat is now her favorite button, even over ‘outside’ and ‘pets.’ Doesn’t matter if she’s just eaten, she always has room for a treat!" said Jasmine Robinson, the dog's amused and befuddled owner.
