Wearing masks, students back to school after a year in Ladakh

After a long gap of almost a year, the schools in UT of Ladakh reopened for Class 6 onwards on March 30.

They were shut due to COVID-19 pandemic.

COVID norms have to be followed at schools which are reopening to combat spread of the virus.

A school staff said, "We're following all the SOPs.

We have reduced students' strength to 50% in each class.

Students will have to come to school on alternative days."
