Fire breaks out in Safdarjung hospital's ICU ward, 50 patients evacuated

A fire broke out in the ICU ward of Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi early on Wednesday.

Delhi Fire Services chief said a total of nine fire tenders were rushed to the spot.

No casualty has been reported in the blaze that broke out around 6:30 am.

DFS added that approximately 50 patients were shifted to other wards in the hospital.

Officials informed that the fire of small category was doused within a few hours.
