The second phase of voting is underway in West Bengal on April 01.

During the voting process, ITBP troops guarded polling booths in Purba Medinipur district and also helped out senior citizens there.

Eight-phase West Bengal polls will conclude on April 29 and the counting of votes is scheduled for May 02.
