Manipur security forces bust brown sugar laboratory, 1 apprehended

Imphal police along with Narcotics and Affairs of Border (NAB) unit raided a brown sugar laboratory at Chesam Muslim Mayai Leikai in Imphal West district on April 1.

A team led by Saklemba Rajkumar, Additional Superintendent of Police/NAB, Amarjit Singh Lamabam, Superintendent of Police (operations) and K Bobby, OC/NAB PS arrested the suspected female named Chesam Maibam Sahera (30) from her husband Chesam Ayub Ali's house, who used to operate the laboratory.

The officials also informed that the husband of accused, Chesam Ayub Ali, is at large.
