Assam polls | 'Congress' 5 guarantees display of mental bankruptcy': JP Nadda

BJP chief JP Nadda accused Congress of indulging in the 'politics of opportunism’.

Mocking Rahul Gandhi, Nadda said he has limited knowledge of Assam’s culture.

He also lashed out at AIUDF chief Badruddin Ajmal over not wearing ‘gamocha’.

“Rahul Gandhi has very limited knowledge of the culture of Assam.

Only recently, Badruddin Ajmal disrespected the (Assamese) gamocha.

Congress party can only indulge in the politics of opportunism,” he said.

“People who set these guarantees have very limited knowledge.

The five guarantees by Congress is a display of mental bankruptcy,” he added.

The three-phase Assam polls will conclude on April 6, votes will be counted on May 2.
