‘Who else…’: Rakesh Tikait blames Modi govt for attack on convoy in Alwar

Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) spokesperson Rakesh Tikait blamed the Narendra Modi govt for the attack on his convoy.

Stones were allegedly pelted at the farmer leader's car, damaging the rear windshield.

“The government is responsible, who else can it be?

It's their youth wing.

They (attackers) were saying, 'Rakesh Tikait, Go Back’.

Where should I go?

They hurled stones and used lathis.

Why are they fighting us, we are farmers, not a political party,” Tikait said.

The alleged attack took place on Friday afternoon in Rajasthan’s Alwar district.

Tikait, however, was not in his car when the stones were allegedly pelted.
