22 security personnel dead in Chhattisgarh Naxal attack
22 security personnel have been confirmed dead in the deadly Naxal attack in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur where the insurgents had fired on the forces for four straight hours.
Bijapur SP Kamalochan Kashyap informed about the unfortunate news.
More than 30 personnel got injured in the attack.
CRPF DG and other officials are present at the attack site, taking stock of the situation.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah called Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and assured all necessary help to the state government.
