Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief JP Nadda held a roadshow from Tollygunge Tram Depot to Garia More in Kolkata on April 05.
A large number of supporters gathered to support the party.
The BJP chief said, "The way people have gathered today shows how much they love us." Third phase of Assembly elections will be held on April 06 in West Bengal.
The BJP and its ally, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), have taken charge of Andhra Pradesh following a decisive TDP victory in the assembly polls. Chandrababu Naidu was sworn in as Chief Minister for the fourth time, with PM Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, and JP Nadda attending the ceremony. Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan was sworn in as Deputy Chief Minister, and Nara Lokesh, Naidu's son, also took the oath along with 22 others. The TDP's support was crucial in helping the BJP form the government.
