Karnataka road transport employees on strike demanding salary hike

In view of indefinite strike by employees of KSRTC (Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation) over their demand for revision of salary, KSRTC has given temporary permits to private buses for the convenience of the passengers.

In-charge of Central Bus Stand, BM Biradar said, "KSRTC employees have started indefinite strike for hike in salary.

The government has given instructions to private buses for public convenience.

Tax exemption and temporary permits have been provided to the bus drivers.

I also support this decision as we don't know how long the strike will go."
