‘India, Netherlands have similar approach on climate change, terrorism’: PM Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi Friday said there have been similarities of approach between India and the Netherlands in dealing with global challenges like climate change, terrorism and pandemics.
He was speaking at a virtual summit with his counterpart from the Netherlands Mark Rutte.
Modi also said that both the countries are developing convergences in areas like Indo-Pacific resilient supply chains and global digital governance.
The US State Department urges India to use its unique relationship with Russia to help end the Ukraine war, emphasizing respect for the UN Charter and Ukraine's sovereignty. Despite maintaining neutrality and abstaining from UN resolutions against Russia, India faces criticism from Ukraine for PM Modi's Moscow visit. India's stance reflects a complex balancing act between its historical ties with Russia.
