COVID: India reports 3.46 lakh cases, 2,624 deaths in 24 hrs

The COVID-19 cases continue to surge in the country as India reported highest-ever spike of COVID-19 cases on Apr 24.

3,46,786 new COVID cases reported in last 24 hours and India's COVID caseload now stands at 1,66,10,481.

Currently, there are 25,52,940 active cases in India.

With 2,624 new deaths, toll has mounted to 1,89,544.

In last 24 hrs, 2,19,838 people have been discharged, taking the numbers to 1,38,67,997.

So far, 13,83,79,832 COVID vaccine jabs have been inoculated.
