Scottish leader candidates clash over Boris Johnson's alleged comments during Channel 4 debate
Scottish Tory leader Douglas Ross has said he believes Boris Johnson, after the Prime Minister denied he said he would rather see “the bodies pile high in their thousands” than order a third national lockdown.Meanwhile Nicola Sturgeon says "there's a stench of sleaze" around Boris Johnson's government.
Boris Johnson made a surprise appearance on the general election campaign trail on Tuesday night, telling a Tory rally: “We’re all here because we love our country.”
He repeated warnings of a Labour "supermajority" and said a vote for Reform UK would contribute to that majority.
