Bilaspur DC denies reports claiming COVID deaths due to Oxygen leakage

Bilaspur District Collector on April 28 denied the media reports claiming deaths of some COVID patients due to oxygen leakage at Bilaspur district hospital on the night of April 26-27.

DC Saransh Mittar said, "As per reports some patients died due to oxygen leakage in Bilaspur district hospital on April 26/27 night, I deny this.

There were minor leakages that were repaired on same night.

6 patients, on non-invasive ventilation, were shifted to another institution."
