Ahead of fourth phase of vaccination drive which will start from May 01, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath appealed people to join vaccination programme enthusiastically.
"The fourth phase of vaccination is going to start from May 1.
For this, we are working in a planned way.
I request people to join the vaccination campaign," said CM Yogi.

A deadly stampede during a 'satsang' in Uttar Pradesh's Hathras on Tuesday claimed the lives of 121 people. Many bodies were kept on blocks of ice at a government hospital while grieving relatives waited outside to take them home. The victims were part of a large crowd gathered for a 'satsang' by religious preacher Bhole Baba near Phulrai village in the Sikandrarau area. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Hathras to meet the injured and announced that a Special Investigation Team (SIT) would probe the incident. He also mentioned that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) would be established to prevent such tragedies in the future.

In a devastating road accident today, at least 18 people lost their lives and many others were injured after the bus they were travelling in collided with another vehicle in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh. Among the deceased were three women and one child, police reported. The double-decker bus, which was en route from Bihar’s Sitamarhi to Delhi, crashed into a milk tanker from behind on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway early this morning. The force of the collision was immense, causing several passengers to be flung out of the bus, police stated.
