Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the secretary general of Lebanon’s Hezbollah movement, issued a stark warning to Israel during a rally in Beirut on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion of Ashura, which commemorates the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS), Nasrallah vowed extensive retaliation should Israel launch a ground invasion into Lebanon. Addressing a crowd in Beirut, Nasrallah emphasised Hezbollah's readiness to respond decisively to any Israeli aggression. "If your tanks come to Lebanon and south Lebanon, you will not have a shortage of tanks, as you will no longer have any tanks left," he stated, underscoring Hezbollah's preparedness for conflict.

Over 60 rockets were launched from Lebanon at the Mount Meron area in northern Israel a short while ago, according to initial IDF assessments. There are no reports of injuries in the attack. A man was badly injured in an earlier barrage. Footage shows the Iron Dome shooting down some of the rockets, while others strike the mountain, atop which sits a sensitive Israeli air traffic control base. Incoming rocket sirens are sounding in the Mount Meron area in northern Israel, amid what appears to be another attack by Hezbollah from Lebanon today. The alerts are activated in several towns surrounding the mountain, including Beit Jann.
