Karnataka records nearly 50,000 COVID cases in highest spike
Catching up to Maharashtra in becoming the worst-affected state by COVID-19, Karnataka on April 30 reported 48,296 cases, its highest daily case figure.
217 people died in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative death toll in the state to 15,523.
The active case have risen to 3,82,690 while 14884 fresh recoveries took the total discharges to 11,24,909.
