Mumbai welcomes 1st drive-in vaccination facility

In a first, a drive-in vaccination facility was set up at Mumbai's BMC centre in Dadar.

The Kohinoor public parking of the centre was converted into a vaccination centre, wherein people can sit in their cars and get inoculated.

Shiv Sena leader Rahul Shewale said, "Similar facilities will be set up at other multipurpose parking sites by BMC." Inspired by drive-in COVID testing, this facility is far more convenient for people as there is no fear of maintaining social distancing.

Eknath Shinde Resigns as Maharashtra CM, Speculation Over Mahayuti Alliance's Next Leadership Choice

Eknath Shinde has stepped down as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra following the Mahayuti alliance’s resounding victory in the assembly elections. Shinde submitted his resignation to Governor C P Radhakrishnan, who requested him to serve as a caretaker CM until a successor is appointed. The spotlight now shifts to the selection of the next chief minister, with BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis and Shinde both emerging as contenders. The BJP, which secured 132 seats to become the single-largest party, has bolstered its claim to the top post. However, the Shiv Sena, led by Shinde, is demanding continuity in leadership, citing coalition precedents and support from the party’s MLAs and the Maratha community. #EknathShinde #MaharashtraPolitics #MahayutiAlliance #DevendraFadnavis #ShivSena #MaharashtraElections #CMResignation #PoliticalTransition #MarathaCommunity #BJPLeadership #AjitPawar #AlliancePolitics #NextCM #MaharashtraNews #PowerShift ~HT.318~PR.152~ED.101~GR.121~
