Economic Offences Unit taking necessary steps to tackle black marketing of medicines: Bihar ADG

Speaking on black marketing of medicines, Additional Director General of Police of Bihar, Jitendra Kumar said the Economic Offences Unit is taking necessary steps towards it.

Additional Director General of Police of Bihar, Jitendra Kumar said, "Bihar government has imposed lockdown from May 05.

We have given 5 companies of police force to Patna to implement lockdown strictly.

We have also instructed them to minimise officials in offices and send them on ground to enforce lockdown." He further said, "Economic Offences Unit is taking necessary steps to tackle black-marketing of medicines.

We have registered three cases in Patna, seized 50 oxygen cylinders and arrested four people in this matter."
