200 new COVID beds added at Delhi's RML Hospital

The national capital is under grip of the second wave of COVID-19.

Amid the devastation, Delhi's Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital increased numbers of COVID-19 beds and added 200 additional COVID beds.

All the new beds are supported with medical oxygen.

The effort has been made in a bid to provide timely treatment to the COVID patients.

Medical Superintendent of RML Hospital Dr Rana AK Singh said, "We were managing with 205 COVID beds but now we've increased 200 oxygen beds more in the hospital.

We also have 24 ICU beds for COVID patients.

We'll also convert 22 oxygen beds into ICUs." On an average, Delhi is reporting over 20,000 COVID cases in a day.
