IPL Mega Auction 2025: Will Mi Look To Re-sign Ishan Kishan With Rs 45 Crore Purse?

The IPL 2025 Mega Auction is gearing up to be a spectacle, and one of the key questions is whether the Mumbai Indians (MI) will aim to re-sign their former star, Ishan Kishan. With a base price of Rs 2 crore, Kishan, a prolific wicketkeeper-batter, remains a prized asset for any team. While MI retained key players ahead of the auction, their remaining purse of Rs 45 crore puts them in a tight spot compared to franchises with bigger budgets. However, Kishan’s explosive batting at the top order and his familiarity with MI’s system might make him a priority target. Will Mumbai’s strategic planning allow them to reclaim Kishan, or will another team swoop in with a bigger bid?
