It was like something out of a movie. A high-speed chase, an armed kidnapping suspect, law enforcement cars crashing. And it all started right here in Kern County.
The Calaveras County Sheriff's Office has identified the suspect accused of taking a hostage and shooting a deputy before being killed by law enforcement in San Andreas last week.
