Ohio teen wins full ride for college in vaccine giveaway
14-year-old Joseph Costello reacts to being selected as the winner of a four-year, full-ride scholarship to any state school in Ohio after entering the stateโs Vax-a-Million giveaway.
The program was set up to encourage people to get vaccinated.
Winter weather warnings have been issued for five U.S. states, including West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Alaska, as up to 10 inches of snow are forecasted. The National Weather Service (NWS) cautioned about hazardous driving conditions, travel disruptions, and power outages. With freezing temperatures expected, vulnerable groups like infants and the elderly may face health risks. Snow accumulations ranging from six to ten inches are expected in certain areas, including Northeast Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, and parts of Alaska.
