A murder investigation is underway after police said a man went up to a pickup truck in the parking lot of a Tom Thumb in Richardson and fired multiple shots Friday afternoon.
Officers responded to a theft of a vehicle in progress in the parking lot of an office building located in the 4100 block of North Central Expressway Service Road.
Police say a domestic dispute culminated in the shooting.
