Police said it is unclear where the shots came from, but the incident took pace at 10:30 p.m. at the Garfield station. The man scraped his knee, but was not seriously injured.
A 30-year-old man has been charged in one of a string of terrifying attacks on the CTA, accused of hitting a 50-year-old man in the head with a hammer on the Red Line on Tuesday.
