Russia conducted a missile strike on a Ukrainian training center in Poltava, targeting the 179th Joint Training Center of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Moscow claims foreign instructors were present, while Ukraine describes the site as a military communication and technology school. The strike reportedly caused around 300 casualties, including 50 fatalities. Ukrainian President Zelensky used the incident to request more air defense systems from Western allies.
