Ukraine war: 'International peace at stake' says Kyiv as casualties mount from Russia strikes
Dozens of people are feared dead in Russian shelling of Ukraine's second city Kharkiv, while the UN is warned international peace and democracy are in peril.
Russia on Saturday claimed the capture of another village in eastern Ukraine's Donetsk region where there is heavy fighting as Moscow's forces advance towards the city of Pokrovsk.

The Russian military has destroyed a Ukrainian warehouse in Donbass, which allegedly stored several multiple launch rocket systems and more than a dozen armored vehicles, the Defense Ministry in Moscow has claimed. Officials also released an video of the alleged strike. In a statement on Friday, the ministry said that Moscowâs forces used an Iskander-M short-range ballistic missile to strike the facility in the key regional hub of Kramatorsk, currently occupied by Ukraine, where artillery of Ukraineâs 56th separate motorized infantry brigade was stored.

Russian forces have made significant progress in the villages of Evgenovka, Novgorodskoye, Timofeeva, Sokol, and Toretsk, repelling five Ukrainian counterattacks in the region. Over 400 Ukrainian troops and several units of hardware, including a U.S.-sent Bradley Fighting Vehicle, MaxxPro Vehicle, and an M777 Howitzer, were reportedly lost during the fighting in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) within 24 hours.
