A Nepalese aircraft, Tara Air flight, from Pokhara to Jomsom lost contact with the ground staff on Sunday morning and has apparently gone missing, the airport authorities confirmed.
The flight was carrying 19 passengers, including 4 Indians.

In a tragic incident on Wednesday, a small plane belonging to Saurya Airlines crashed after skidding off the runway at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, resulting in the deaths of 18 out of 19 passengers on board. The sole survivor of the crash was the plane's pilot, Captain Manish Ratna Shakya. The aircraft, a Bombardier CRJ200 with the call sign 9N-AME/CRJ 200, was carrying two crew members and 17 technicians on a maintenance trip to Pokhara city. The crash occurred at 11:11 am local time as the plane attempted to take off from the southern end of the runway. Eyewitnesses reported seeing the plane flip and strike the ground with its wing tip before catching fire.
