Canada: Medical experts release report on COVID-19 border measures – September 23, 2022

The Canadian Tourism and Travel Roundtable hosts a news conference in Ottawa, where a group of medical doctors release a report assessing the effectiveness of the federal government’s border measures and other travel restrictions in managing the COVID-19 pandemic.

Taking part in the event are Dr. Zain Chagla and Dr. Dominik Mertz (associate professors of medicine at McMaster University) and Dr. David Carr (associate professor in the division of emergency medicine at the University of Toronto).

Dr. Karl Weiss (professor of medicine at McGill University and chief of the division of infectious diseases at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal) joins by videoconference.
