'Variety' reports that Swift's 10th studio album has become the first in five years to hit the million-unit mark in a week.
However, she did it in only three days.
The last album to complete such a feat was Swift's 2017 album, 'Reputation.'.
According to Luminate, 'Midnights' registered 1.2 million units for the weekend of Oct.
21-Oct.
23.
Surprisingly, almost half of those units were made up of vinyl sales.
That's the biggest sales week for a vinyl record since Luminate's predecessors started tracking such numbers in 1991.
'Variety' reports that Swift released five different LP editions.
Within the first three days of release, 'Midnights' had over 284 million streams. According to 'Billboard,' that means 'Midnights' has already had the third-biggest streaming week of the year.
Bad Bunny currently holds the record with 356.55 million streams for the debut week of "Un Verano Sin Ti."
