South Korea, US warplanes begin largest ever air drills amid tensions with N. Korea | Oneindia news
The United States and South Korea began one of their largest combined military air drills on Monday, with hundreds of warplanes from both sides staging mock attacks 24 hours a day for the better part of a week.
In a major blunder during the Paris Olympics opening ceremony, South Korean athletes were mistakenly introduced as North Korean delegates. The mistake was highlighted by both French and English announcers, although the subtitles correctly identified them. This gaffe comes at a time of heightened tensions between the two Koreas.
