Elle Edwards: 'Most beautiful and bright star', says family

The family of a woman killed in a shooting at a pub on Christmas Eve describe her as "the most beautiful and bright star".

Elle Edwards, who was 26-years-old, was killed at the Lighthouse pub in Wallasey, Wirral, when a gunman opened fire outside the pub.

In a statement read out by Merseyside Police Detective Superintendent Sue Coombs on behalf of the family, she says: "There was no one as beautiful as our Elle May, her looks, her laugh and the way she would light up a room as soon as she walked in.” During the press conference, Elle's father, Tim Edwards, sits beside DC Sue Coombs.
