How did Nicola Bulley disappear? The case perplexing police

Nicola Bulley, 45, was last seen walking her dog on a towpath by the River Wyre in St Michael’s on Wyre, Lancashire.

She disappeared after dropping her daughters off at school and going on her usual dog walk on the morning of 27th January.

Her phone, found on a bench on a steep riverbank, was still connected to a Teams call for her job as a mortgage adviser.

It was found alongside a dog lead and harness on the ground.

An underwater search team has pulled out of the hunt for Ms Bulley saying she is "categorically not” in the area of the river that they were asked to search.

Lancashire Constabulary are still working on the hypothesis that Nicola fell into the river.
