Colonel (retired) Earl Ingram's Interview
Colonel (retired) Earl Ingram's Interview
Colonel Earl Ingram recalls his service during World War II.
I did not know Colonel Earl Ingram, but I served with his Grandson Earl Ingram III in the 10th Mountain Division.
I have remained his friend since we meet, and I can see the impression his grandfather had on him.
Today Earl learned that his grandfather had passed at the age of 99.
Colonel Ingram was a Veteran of three wars, WWII, Korea, and Vietnam, saw his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren grow into adults and one of them join the Army.
My friend Earl said that he lived a long life and was ready to be with Grandma again.
God-speed Colonel Ingram, thank you for your service, and rest well, your duty is done...until we meet on Fiddler's Green.
