A few days back, Stockholm based think tank…the SIPRI, which stands for Stockholm International Peace Research Institute…published a new report titled ‘Trends in International Arms Transfers’.
The report measures weapons imports over five-year periods and it has validated these assertions.

The SIPRI report revealed India has 172 "stored" nuclear warheads, while Pakistan has 170 as of January 2024. Both countries are pursuing multiple warhead capabilities on ballistic missiles. While Pakistan remains India's primary focus, New Delhi is emphasizing longer-range weapons to counter China's growing arsenal. India slightly expanded its nuclear stockpile in 2023 as both nations modernized delivery systems.

The Russian military has destroyed a Ukrainian warehouse in Donbass, which allegedly stored several multiple launch rocket systems and more than a dozen armored vehicles, the Defense Ministry in Moscow has claimed. Officials also released an video of the alleged strike. In a statement on Friday, the ministry said that Moscow’s forces used an Iskander-M short-range ballistic missile to strike the facility in the key regional hub of Kramatorsk, currently occupied by Ukraine, where artillery of Ukraine’s 56th separate motorized infantry brigade was stored.
