Amritpal Singh believed to be hiding in Nepal; India asks Nepal’s help | Oneindia News
India has requested the Nepal government not to allow fugitive radical preacher Amritpal Singh, who is believed to be hiding in Nepal, to flee to a third country and arrest him if he attempts to escape using Indian passport or any other fake passport, a media report said on Monday.
A powerful 6.1 magnitude earthquake struck near Kathmandu, Nepal, in the early hours of Friday, sending shockwaves across the region. Tremors were felt in Bihar, Siliguri, and other parts of India, causing panic among residents. The quake, recorded along Kodari Highway in Sindhupalchowk district, occurred at 2:51 AM, but so far, there are no reports of damage or casualties.
