Wagner mercenary chief says his fighters are pulling out of Bakhmut
The head of Russia's Wagner mercenary group said on Thursday his troops have started transferring their positions in the flashpoint eastern Ukraine city of Bakhmut to the Russian military.

Every day, people are being killed.ā
His remarks come as U.S. officials are in Moscow trying to broker a truce, but Putin has expressed reservations, insisting that key Russian conditions must be met. While Moscow claims to support the ceasefire "in theory," the Kremlinās undisclosed demands could significantly impact the negotiations.
