Trump’s plan, announced alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has sparked global outrage, particularly in the Arab and Muslim world. While Netanyahu praised the proposal as “the first good idea” for Gaza’s future, Erdogan dismissed it as “worthless” and accused Zionist leadership of pushing an agenda that holds “nothing worth discussing.”

A Russian drone flew over Kyiv’s Mariinsky Palace on January 16, just minutes after the UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer arrived for high-stakes talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The drone incursion took place during the diplomatic visit, raising fears that it could have been an assassination attempt. Explosions were heard at 12:20 p.m. as Ukraine's air defense forces attempted to intercept the drone above the presidential residence.
