Ever since Jesus came to the earth He has engendered controversy.
Some theologians call this "The Scandal of Jesus." In the Scriptures that we will be studying today we will see that Jesus Himself explains the controversy in terms of the decision that people have to make regarding Him.
According to Jesus, the world will be divided into two groups of people: Those who receive Him and those who reject Him.
It is this division that brings about all the controversy.
