The Val Fourré district town hall was burned to the ground during a night of riots across the Paris region after a 17-year-old driver was shot and killed by police during a traffic check Tuesday.
1,200 police were deployed in multiple cities around France to curb rioting and put out flames as 40 cars and multiple buildings were set on fire.
