Manipur incident: CJI DY Chandrachud condemns act; SC says it’s ‘deeply disturbed’ | Oneindia News

The Supreme Court has directed the Centre and state government to take immediate steps against the horrific incident in Manipur.

Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud has called the incident simply unacceptable.

The top court demanded to be apprised of what action has been taken on the showing of two women being paraded Naked in Manipur.

The court said that it is really disturbed by the video.

It has ordered the Centre and state to apprise the court of steps taken and have posted the matter for further hearing next Friday.
