Did Ukrainians celebrate the attack of the Crimea bridge in a bar?
A video shared by a Hungarian TV station purports to show Ukrainians in a packed pub celebrating the recent attack on the Kerch bridge linking Russia to annexed Crimea.
Fuel oil spilled out of two tankers nearly three weeks ago in the Kerch Strait, about 250 kilometres from Sevastopol on the southwest of the occupied Crimean Peninsula.

In one of the most intense escalations of the conflict, Russia faced a massive wave of Ukrainian drone and missile attacks on New Year’s Eve. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, 68 drones were intercepted across multiple regions, including Bryansk, Crimea, Krasnodar, and Smolensk. The assault targeted critical infrastructure, with a drone strike in Smolensk causing significant damage to an oil depot, resulting in a fuel spill and fire. Kursk Region also witnessed a missile strike that damaged an apartment building and left one elderly woman injured, though she declined hospitalization. Russian officials accused Ukraine of attempting to disrupt holiday celebrations and spread panic.
