Neonatal nurse Lucy Letby, 33, has been found guilty at Manchester Crown Court of the murders of seven babies and the attempted murders of six others at the Countess of Chester Hospital.

The incidents took place between June 2015 and June 2016.

The court heard that Letby injected air into some babies’ tubes and overfed others to kill them.

The guilty verdicts mean Letby is the most prolific child killer in modern British history.
