Judge sentences child killer Lucy Letby to whole-life order
Nurse Lucy Letby will spend the rest of her life in prison after being given a whole-life order by Judge Mr Justice Goss at Manchester Crown Court for the murders of seven babies and attempted murders of six others at the Countess of Chester Hospital.

Lucy Letby is convicted of attempting to murder a baby girl in February 2016 when she worked as a nurse at the Countess of Chester Hospital's neonatal unit. The 34-year-old was convicted of attempting to murder the child, referred to in court as Baby K, following a retrial. Report by Kennedyl. A man has appeared in court charged with two counts of murder after the discovery of human remains in suitcases in Bristol, and, at a flat in west London. 34-year-old Yostin Andres Mosquera appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates Court earlier today. Police have named the two victims as 62-year-old Albert Alfonso and 71 year old Paul Longworth who lived together at a flat in Shepherds Bush. The suspect had been staying with them.
