Darkest Dungeon (2016) game review

Darkest Dungeon is famous sideview dungeon crawler.

It has procedurally generated dungeons, character development, level ups, and turn-based fights, so in order to beat the game player needs to win against the random dice.

That is the standard for turn-based games, except board game simulations without a dice.

You prepare a group of 4 adventurers, collect stuff during your quests to upgrade a hamlet and recruit a roster of heroes + lots of extra stuff to do.

The game has DLC's for additional content.

It is difficult game and loosely associated to Lovecraftian theme, so the setting is gothic and dark.

The game has special offer on steam platform (slash 80%) until 25th of August.

Now there is also Darkest Dungeon 2 available, but I recommend this older one for the first go.
