Philp: Labour’s immigration plans have collapsed into chaos
Policing minister Chris Philp has branded Sir Keir Starmer's immigration plan an open border policy, saying that the British public would strongly oppose vast numbers of “more than 100,000 of Europe’s illegal immigrants into the UK, with no idea at all about where to accommodate them.” Labour said it promised new staff to cut the current claims backlog, and end the use of hotels to house asylum seekers.
