The Armed Forces minister says anyone appearing to show support for Hamas during pro-Palestinian demonstrations is "despicable", after the Met Police said they were looking for two women who wore images of paragliders on their backs at a protest in London.

Russell Brand has been formally charged with rape and sexual assault. The U.K.'s Crown Prosecution Service said that it has authorized London's Metropolitan Police to charge a man, identified as 49-year-old Brand, following an investigation by detectives.
