A senior Hamas official confirmed Deif's well-being and stated that he is actively overseeing military operations against Israeli forces. The incident occurred during an Israeli military attack on a designated humanitarian safe zone in the same area, resulting in the deaths of at least 90 Palestinians and injuries to 300 others.
